Hello all!

I just realized that it might be helpful for me to give a bit of info about what I was thinking about when I created this community and where we as a group are thinking it might go!

I'm just out of college with a BFA in illustration, and one of the most helpful things to me is getting critique and feedback on my work, so I thought of starting a community focusing on that. I aslo figured it would be a great way to meet new people on dreamwidth, but that's a bit besides the point.

The way I was initially invisioning it was people posting an individual piece to recieve feedback, but I'm also thinking maybe it will work with larger bodies of work, where youd post a dozen images or passages in order to recieve feedback about more general trends in your work. The other possibility is giving everyone their own unique tag (just their username), so that we can look at other work the user has been doing. This will both show progression and help commenters find larger trends in the work.

Obvisiously I'm more of a drawing person (with a little video editting on the side), but was thinking we might be able get writing and music, and who knows, maybe even crafts going on here.

However, that's where you come in. This community isn't just for me, it's for you! The users! As the first few members of the community you're lucky enough to have a huge influence on what this community could become! What are you interested in seeing here? What don't you want to see here? This is your chance to share what you would like and, believe me, I'll be taking notes on all of it!
